NSGW Terms & Conditions

Welcome! Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By booking an event with us, you agree to everything below. It helps us protect you, us, and the unique space we’re creating together.

1. Definitions

“NSGW” / “we” / “us” / “our” – the organisers of No Sex Gay Weekend. “Event” – the weekend or day experience you’ve booked. “Participant” / “you” / “your” – the person attending the event.

2. Booking & Contract

Your place is only confirmed once: you’ve paid in full, and you’ve agreed to these Terms and the Philosophy & Code of Conduct. Once confirmed, this forms a binding agreement under English law. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not attend the event.

3. Payment

Full payment is due at the time of booking unless an instalment plan has been arranged. We don’t currently require a deposit, but we reserve the right to introduce one in the future. If you fail to settle any payment, you will not be admitted and will be permanently excluded from all future events.

4a. Weekends and Events: Cancellations & Refunds

Refund amount based on notice given before the start date

6+ weeks: 100%

4-6 weeks: 50%

Less than 4 weeks: 0%

Deposits are always non-refundable. We recommend having personal travel insurance. To cancel: email bookings@nosexgayweekend.com with your details.

4b. Merchandise: Exchanges and Refunds

Refunds & Returns

All merchandise is made to order. Because of this, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect sizing, or buyer error.

Defective or Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, or otherwise defective, please contact us within 14 days with photos of the issue. We will happily arrange a replacement at no extra cost.

Order Issues

If there is a problem with your order (e.g., wrong item received), please get in touch and we’ll sort it for you as quickly as possible.

Merchandise purchased on this site or elsewhere cannot be refunded or exchanged unless defective.

5. Ticket Transfers

Tickets are non-transferable to another person or another event and we may refuse a transfer for any reason. This helps us maintain the group atmosphere and safety.

6. If We Cancel or Postpone

If we need to cancel, postpone, or make major changes due to factors beyond our control (like illness outbreaks, extreme weather, or low numbers), you’ll be offered: a transfer to another event, or a full refund of what you paid to us. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, we are not responsible for any other costs (such as travel, accommodation, insurance, food, or incidental expenses).

7. Travel & Insurance

You are responsible for your own travel and transportation, travel documents (e.g. passport, visa), and insurance for cancellations, medical issues, or lost belongings. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. We accept no liability for missed transport, illness, cancellations, or lost belongings.

8. Health, Safety & Wellbeing

You confirm you’re fit to take part in group activities. We reserve the absolute right to exclude or remove any participant at any time, for any reason, without refund.

9. Behaviour & Group Expectations

All attendees agree to the Philosophy & Code of Conduct throughout the event. We may remove participants who breach this agreement without refund or future admission. This includes before or during the event.

10. Risk & Liability

By attending, you acknowledge that travel, shared spaces, and group activities carry inherent risks. You agree that NSGW is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the actions of other participants, third parties, or circumstances beyond our control. You further agree not to hold us liable for any injury, loss, or damage unless caused by our proven negligence. You accept full responsibility for your own actions and behaviour, and you agree to indemnify us against any claim, damage, or expense arising from them.

11. Your Stuff = Your Responsibility

Please look after your own belongings. We’re not liable for anything lost, stolen, or damaged during the event.

12. Force Majeure (Stuff We Can’t Control)

We are not liable if the event is disrupted due to natural disaster, pandemic or illness outbreak, strikes or political unrest, travel bans, venue or supplier issues or cancellations, or acts of terrorism or war.

13. Accessibility

We’re committed to making events as accessible as we can. Let us know as early as possible and we’ll do our best to make reasonable adjustments.

14. Privacy, Photos & Media

We comply with UK GDPR standards. ID such as a passport may be required for residential events, which will be stored securely for a year. This is required for venue and safety compliance.

You consent to us taking, using, and publishing photos and videos of the event in any media, worldwide, for any purpose, for an unlimited time. If you would prefer not to appear in any such media, you must notify us in writing before the event (email: info@nosexgayweekend.com), though we can only attempt to avoid publishing photos where you are prominently featured, where you are the main subject of the photo or video and clearly identifiable in the foreground.

Being in the background while we capture the general atmosphere of the event does not count as being prominently featured, and we cannot guarantee exclusion from these incidental appearances. If you’ve notified us of a photo opt-out, please remind a team member at check-in.

Please don’t take or post photos of others without asking first. What happens at NSGW stays with sensitivity and respect.

15. Legal Stuff

Governed by English law. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England & Wales. If any part of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest still applies.

16. This Agreement

These Terms + your booking + our Philosophy & Code of Conduct = our full agreement. No email, chat, or comment overrides this unless confirmed in writing.

✅ Before You Join…
