Arriving late Friday afternoon and leaving Monday morning, we’ll have plenty of time to relax over the long weekend in this awesome Manor house and grounds, get to know each other, eat together, socialise and lots optional activities.

This is time to relax and get to know each other - including cooking together and bringing the best of ourselves to make it an awesome experience. Don’t worry, there are 2 dishwashers and three fridges for all the supplies! We will have a formal dinner on one of the nights.

Think of it more as mates in the manor vs a stay at Gleneagles!

Fond Farewell (for now!)

Whether you leave on Sunday evening or Monday morning, you’ll be given a warm farewell… and we hope to see you again!

Remember that all activities are optional. You are welcome to have a break/downtime whenever you like!

Cadhay offers a unique opportunity to experience an historic house set in magnificent gardens with medieval fishponds.

Although it is Tudor, the house was heavily restored in the Georgian period.

Built around a central courtyard, it is surprisingly light and a joy to stay in or visit.

The house has been refurbished to a high standard and is full of wonderful furniture and works of art.

Where you’ll be staying…

“This is my first time… I’m kinda nervous!”

Very understandable! If you haven’t been to a NSGW event before, it could feel like a leap of faith.

Join the many others who have done the same and left feeling great about doing so!

Travel and other details

The Manor is 1 mile north west of Ottery St Mary, about 3.5 hours’ drive from London. There is parking and two EV chargers.

The nearest train station is at Feniton (10 mins away by taxi) though more of the Waterloo to Exeter trains call at Honiton (15 mins away by taxi).

For services from Paddington and the North, the stations of Exeter St Davids (30 mins by taxi) or Tiverton Parkway (25 mins by taxi) would be the best option.

Other than St Davids it would be advisable to book a taxi before the start of your journey due to the rural situation of the stations.
